ALEX DYER, P.E.

Alex’s life story started in small-town Texas where his first exposure to construction was working on a survey crew in the hot West Texas summers. Despite experiencing days of 100+ degree heat, a love of engineering and construction was born. To further that pursuit, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering focusing on Construction and Project Management from Texas A&M. After graduating in 2009, he stayed in College Station to obtain a Master’s in Civil Engineering to further his expertise.

Alex’s first project out of graduate school was working on a multi-billion-dollar project at the Motiva Refinery in Port Arthur Texas. After a few years in the Oil and Gas industry, Alex left to join a construction firm in Dallas-Fort Worth. After Alex was married, he joined a civil engineering firm in pursuit of his Professional Engineering license, which he received in 2017.

Prior to LYFE Residential, Alex served as the Civil Engineer Project Manager for a developer in Dallas, where he was responsible for aiding acquisition and development in supplying Civil Engineering leadership for single family, multifamily and mixed-use properties in the Dallas market. A well-rounded developer and licensed engineer, Alex has experience in construction project management, higher education design and construction, and urban infill development. He has taken projects from the planning stage through closeout on a variety of property types and scales.

Alex graduated from Texas A&M University with Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2009 and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineer in 2010. Alex is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas. He and his beautiful wife, Caroline, have two adorable children, Elliott and Jack, and a wonderful dog, Goose.
